  • Eric Ramirez Eric Ramirez

    Bio: Eric Ramirez is an entrepreneur and investor. He is a cofounder of Outcomm, Inc., a leading outdoor advertising company in the Philippines, Molave Investments Ltd, an Asia focused multi-strategy fund, and Eximius BPO Services, Inc., a real estate services company. He is also a Director of Nuffnang Philippines, a blog community with over 25,000 blogs in the Philippines, and Insync Inc, a google cloud syncing startup. He was previously the Philippine and Thailand country head for Walden International, a US venture capital firm. He was a director of Sun Microsystems Philippines, Pacific Microwave, Philippine Seven Corporation, and was also formerly the head of the Stanford Alumni Association of the Philippines. He is an avid fan of the internet and blogs. He is an amateur cook and an occasional magazine writer.


  • Jojo Flores Jojo Flores

    Bio: Jojo is Co-Founder & V.P. Operations at Plug and Play Tech Center, a Silicon Valley based tech startup accelerator, which he started in January 2006, and built a community of 600+ tech startups, 200+ angel investors, 200+ VC investors, 100+ large tech corporations and service partners, 50+ domestic and international universities, and numerous experts in various technology fields.

    Since inception, Plug and Play startups have been able to raise in excess of $1 billion. Jojo currently serves as a Board Member and V.P. for International Operations at American Liquid Packaging Systems (ALPS), where he successfully started and co-founded 12 bottled water companies in over 30 cities in Europe and Asia. ALPS is also one of the leading distributors of plastic resin in the world with offices in Central America, Europe, and Asia. Additionally, Jojo serves as a Board Member in the Science and Technology Advisory Council to the Philippine government and leading universities, helping them bridge technology entrepreneurs to Silicon Valley. Jojo completed his BS Administration studies in 1989 at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City.


  • Gwendolyn Regina Tan Gwendolyn Regina Tan

    Bio: A Partner at Thymos Capital, Gwen focuses on early stage investing in technology firms and sits on the Steering Committee of Start-Up@Singapore, the national business plan competition. While still an undergraduate, she spent a year as a Teaching Assistant at the NUS MBA programme before moving to Silicon Valley to pursue work in a start-up and studies in Stanford University under the NUS Overseas College programme. She is also the Managing Director of Triple Point and Chief Editor of SGEntrepreneurs.com, Singapore\\\'s most well-read entrepreneurship and startup site.

  • Martin Lichauco Martin Lichauco

    Bio: Martin heads S&A’s Hong Kong office, extending the firm’s global reach by developing business and executing client mandates throughout Asia. Concurrent to this position, Mr. Lichauco is Managing Partner at Global Gateway Venture Capital (G2VC), a venture capital firm with offices in the United States and Asia, focused on investing in global-facing Asian start-ups and early-stage companies.


  • Minette Navarrete Minette Navarrete

    Bio: President at Kickstart Ventures, a Globe Telecom company. Minette Navarrete joined Globe Telecom Inc. in July 2006 to start up Business Development in what was then a pure-play operator: Globe’s New Business Group (NBG), was created to lead the company expansion outside of the core telecommunications business. The NBG develops new businesses and capabilities for Globe via strategic partnerships, greenfield builds, equity investments and M&A; and is responsible for the strategic blueprint of Globe’s digital media and content, and mobile advertising businesses, as well as for the digital marketing capability.

    Minette is concurrently Vice-Chairman of the Entertainment Gateway Group (EGG), Globe’s wholly-owned content provider, which was acquired in 2008. Minette has held CEO/COO positions in various industries, ranging from Philippine start-ups to established multinational players. Before joining Globe, she was in online game publishing with Level Up! International as Director of Strategic Initiatives and Managing Director of Level Up! Inc.’s Philippine operations. She previously served as Levi Strauss & Company’s Country Manager for the Philippines and Guam; before that, she was President and CEO of Shangri-La Plaza Corporation. She began her career in fast-moving consumer goods companies Unilever and L’Oréal. Minette holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, Major in Management Engineering, Cum Laude, from Ateneo de Manila University.
