  • Art Ilano Art Ilano

    Bio: Art is a business professor at the University of the Philippines, where he has been teaching marketing and strategy for over two decades. Yes, he’s that old. He has been a consultant for a number of firms including San Miguel, Hyundai, DBP, Rustan’s, and the ADB, plus a bunch more that he can barely remember at this point. He was also the Editor-in-Chief of PC Magazine, Mobile Magazine, and is currently an editor for Technoodling.net.

    Bio: Sam is founder and COO of SourcePad, a web/mobile development company that builds Ruby on Rails, iPhone, iPad and Android apps. Prior to SourcePad, he co-founded Clear Insight Group, a meditation-based training company that worked with large organizations to reduce stress and increase productivity in the workplace. Sam became a full-time entrepreneur at 26 years old after working in public relations and technology at Harvard University, American Express & Fidelity Investments. He has a BS in Management Information Systems from Wake Forest University.

    Bio: Brian Cu is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of ZALORA Philippines, the country\'s premier online fashion destination. He also acts as the Managing Director in charge of operations for ZALORA. Prior to this, we was a Project Leader in the Boston Consulting Group where he worked on a broad range of industries form telecommunications to fast moving consumer goods across more than 7 countries. In 2010, he also co-founded a crowd-sourced logistics provider in Jakarta which has received acclaim in the local and international press, and received an award for best start-up by GEPI, a program sponsored by the US state department.

    Bio: Eric Tomacruz received his B.S., M.S., & Ph.D in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at University of California, Berkeley. His research was on technology computer aided design for electrical engineers. He was part of two silicon valley startups that focused on 3-D virtual worlds, Internet bulletin board search engine & email list management. After which, he moved to the Philippines to start his own company which had a successful exit for Jobs.NET. Today, his company is focused on Alumni.NET which has over 5.5 million members. It provides tools for schools to effectively reach and interact with their students and alumni using social networks, email lists, official school sites, employment sites, classifieds, and other Internet sites.
